More of what I’ve been up to. In the next round of the Moleskine Exchange, I’ll be working in a watercolor book. Unless I’ve completely forgotten everything I’ve learned, I’m a fair hand at watercolor painting. In fact, I’m going to have to dig up the watercolor I did in High School of Dave Gahan. It hung in the front display case all year at school, which is basically a glorified version of my mother putting it on the refrigerator except she never put my artwork up anywhere. A Grade homework, sure. No unicorn drawings, though.
Anyway. I can do watercolor, no problem. But I really want to do something different, so I have a special plan for this piece and three more in the series of birds.

Wow, exceptional work here! I think with the watercolor ’skine, use the medium unconventionally if you feel uncomfortable with it. That’s what i tend to do at least. Oh, and the dave Gahan drawing story cracks me up. He was a hero of mine back in high school as well, haha! Still love me some goold old DM, preferably from about 82-91.

Right on, pre-1991 DM FTW! I’m going to have to scan my old drawings and post them some time.
Thanks.
